LUSH Haul and Reviews!!

I apologise for my lack of posts recently. Work has been keeping me quite busy...since I do over two hours of traveling getting to and from work everyday (and the 5:30am wakeups :( ). Apart from that, I'm afraid my beauty regime has been quite boring as I've been trying to finish my project 10 pan. It's hell! These crap products will never end!!!!

While I haven't purchased any makeup products in the past 3 months (that's an achievement in itself for me!!), I have ventured into the LUSH shop since bath products don't really count in Project 10 Pan!

There's nothing more enjoyable than being able to relax in the tub on a Friday evening after a stressful week. Yes, I'm boring on Fridays - for some reason I seem to be really exhausted on Fridays and rarely go out (apart from dinners). I prefer going out on Saturdays. No one likes to go out with someone who is yawning all night - and on Friday evenings that's me!

I have fallen in love with bath bombs. While they are so much cheaper in the UK than in Australia, I still splurge and have a quality bath once a week!

So far, I have tried the following:

Big Blue bath bomb

Avobath bath bomb

The Ex Factor bath bomb

The Comforter (bubbles)

Sexy Peel soap

I have also purchased two skin products:

Lemony Flutter cuticle cream

Sympathy for the skin body lotion

Please read below for reviews:

Big Blue bath bomb: this has a lovely smell and leaves my bath water a nice deep blue colour. It feels like I'm in the Caribbean - with sea weed floating every where. I LOOOOVE the smell. I wish they made a perfume that smelled the exact same as that. It smelled so nice that I left the water in the tub afterwards so that the frangrance could linger around the house. Cons: price. I think it's quite expensive just for one use. It's an 8$ bath...quite expensive seeing as I only stay in the bath for about a half hour. Regardless - I will repurchase!

Avobath: I enjoy this smell as well. It's softer and smoother. The water is left milky and my skin feels really smooth afterwards. Overall, this bath is quite relaxing. Cons: same as above regarding price (they are much cheaper in the UK - so this is probably only an Aussie issue - everything costs a fortune here!). Bath water is also not a bright colour...just a pale mint green colour. I enjoy and repurchase (but my favorite is still the Big Blue)

Ex Factor: This one is lovely and slightly more affordable. But, limited edition of course! Similar to Big Blue - but without sea weed. Water turned into a bright blue colour and a pleasant smell lingered around the house. I have used two of these so far! Love them

The Comforter: I really enjoy this as you can break it into three - four pieces. It smells like a nice berry smell and creates the most amazing bubbles! Bubble bath can NEVER create the same bubbles as this does. I mix this in with a bath bomb and it's the best bath possible! Bubbles and frangrance.

Sexy Peel soap: Smells amazing! Like a fresh baked lemon loaf! mmmmmm I haven't tried this yet, but learn from me: don't leave it on the counter in the kitchen! My boyfriend actually took a bite of it as he thought it was cheese!!! All I heard was a spit sound and then: "ugghh this is the most disgusting cheese ever...what is this???" I have never laughed so hard in my life!

Lemony Flutter: Smells like fresh lemons and moisturises the skin like no other. When I'm on the train sitting next to someone disgusting who smells awful (which is quite frequent ----do people not know they smell awful and why don't they do anything about it, anyways), I pop this out and then it blocks out their disgusting smell! Love it! It's a life saver...as sooooo frequently, people's odors almost make me want to vomit in the morning. Is it too much to shower in the morning for people??? haha

Be careful not to use too much of this as it will leave your hands greasy. Use only a small amount and your hands will be quite soft. I also use this on my elbows, knees and feet. It's excellent. I have purchased this before and will repurchase again!

Sympathy for the Skin: What can I say?? AMAZING Lotion!! Go out and buy it! My hands smell like chocolate after...mixed with bananas...mmmmm and they are left really soft and smooth. I haven't used this as a body lotion yet, so I can't review on how it leaves your body's skin.

I am thinking of trying the shower smoothies and dream cream. Has anyone experienced those? If so, would you recommend? Any other LUSH products I should try?
