Who doesn't love a good bargain? I love trying new products and really enjoy when companies get together to reward existing customers and grasp new ones. MECCA Cosmetica (equal to SpaceNK and Sephora, an Australian boutique beauty product store) got together with Vogue to offer a 10 piece box full of deluxe samples from top rated beauty icons. The great part about this is, not only are they generous enough to offer you products to try; they're also offering you the opportunity to try the best ones - not garbage that doesn't work.
So I got my copy of Vogue magazine and took advantage of the opportunity to get my face done by a makeup artist. It cost 90$, which was redeemable in products on the day. So I got the NARS Sheer Glow, which is a staggering 100$ here in Australia!! Can someone please explain to me how companies can justify charging more than double the American price??? I just don't get it. Australian cosmetics are soooo expensive. I often just get them shipped from Sephora to my Canadian address and get my mom to ship it to me. I save so much money. But anyways, on this instance I thought it was a good value - plus the staff at MECCA was lovely.
This box included:
- Full size Stila Kitten refill
- Frederik Fekkai Glossing Cream (50ml)
- Mini NARS Laguna Bronzer
- MECCA to save face SPF 30
- By Terry Eclat de Rose 2ml
- Bumble & Bumble thickening hairspray 50ml
- Perricone MD Cold Plasma 5ml
- Nude Age defence moisturizer 5ml
- Malin & Goetz lip moisturizer (full size 10g) - amazing stuff!
- MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel - looove these!!
I haven't tried all of these yet, but I look forward to trying to By Terry Tinted Moisturiser and the cold plasma cream. I probably don't want to get hooked on either as purchasing these regularly would cost a fortune!! The lip moisturizer by Malin & Goetz is divine and I highly recommend you try it if you get the chance. It's slick and moisturising without being sticky.
