Project 10 Pan - Getting there!!

Oh P10P - when will I finish these products! Most bloggers seem to fly through products so quickly; I take forever! I use these everyday...and want to finish these quickly so I can justify buying new stuff.

My current project 10 pan includes items from my previous that I have just been sluggish at finishing up, mixed with a few new items.

They include:

  • Dior Bronze Sunset Fiesta (this is a lovely blusher/bronzer, it's a gorgeous coral/bronze shade)

  • Armani Lasting Silk UV Foundation in 4 (good foundation, but looking forward to using NARS Sheer Glow I just purchased)

  • Pur Minerals 4in1 pressed powder in Blush Medium (I just use lightly after foundation to set it)

  • Maybelline Mineral Power (wrong shade, so I'm just finishing it up!)

  • MAC Studio Sculp in NC20 (good concealer but tends to crease, almost done!)

  • MAC Paint Pot in Perky (l.e. but it's a nice, light pink shade)

  • LOreal Gilded Bronze Eyeshadow (it looks nice paired with a darker shade in crease)

  • MAC Satin Taupe (I use this for crease and lightly on eyebrows, love this shade!)

  • Maybelline Chai Latte Quad (I recommend these, good shadows for a drugstore)

  • MAC Loose Bronzer (I use this as eyeshadow and on cheeks when I'm lazy, it's a nice shade and is very versatile)

How long does it take you to finish your project 10 pan? Am I the only who takes forever to complete???

MECCA & Vogue Beauty Icons Box

Who doesn't love a good bargain? I love trying new products and really enjoy when companies get together to reward existing customers and grasp new ones. MECCA Cosmetica (equal to SpaceNK and Sephora, an Australian boutique beauty product store) got together with Vogue to offer a 10 piece box full of deluxe samples from top rated beauty icons. The great part about this is, not only are they generous enough to offer you products to try; they're also offering you the opportunity to try the best ones - not garbage that doesn't work.
So I got my copy of Vogue magazine and took advantage of the opportunity to get my face done by a makeup artist. It cost 90$, which was redeemable in products on the day. So I got the NARS Sheer Glow, which is a staggering 100$ here in Australia!! Can someone please explain to me how companies can justify charging more than double the American price??? I just don't get it. Australian cosmetics are soooo expensive. I often just get them shipped from Sephora to my Canadian address and get my mom to ship it to me. I save so much money. But anyways, on this instance I thought it was a good value - plus the staff at MECCA was lovely.
This box included:
  • Full size Stila Kitten refill
  • Frederik Fekkai Glossing Cream (50ml)
  • Mini NARS Laguna Bronzer
  • MECCA to save face SPF 30
  • By Terry Eclat de Rose 2ml
  • Bumble & Bumble thickening hairspray 50ml
  • Perricone MD Cold Plasma 5ml
  • Nude Age defence moisturizer 5ml
  • Malin & Goetz lip moisturizer (full size 10g) - amazing stuff!
  • MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel - looove these!!

I haven't tried all of these yet, but I look forward to trying to By Terry Tinted Moisturiser and the cold plasma cream. I probably don't want to get hooked on either as purchasing these regularly would cost a fortune!! The lip moisturizer by Malin & Goetz is divine and I highly recommend you try it if you get the chance. It's slick and moisturising without being sticky.

What products have you been hooked on as a result of freebies?

NOTD: Revlon Tropical Temptation

I apologise for my lack of posts during the past few months. It's a combination of laziness and word combined. My habit includes reading others' blogs and watching youtube channels all while neglecting my own. Thank you to those of you who still follow me. I intend on posting more frequently in the next few months as I have a few product raves and disses to talk about.

Now onto nails of the day. This month has been so cold and gray in Australia and I just love how this shade brightens up my day. Revlon makes good varnishes, while not breaking the bank. This shade is Tropical Temptation: a bright coral/orange/pink mixed colour - nice and bright, perfect for toes or fingers. Two coats of it leaves a nice, opaque finish.

Sorry about the bad resolution...my iphone camera's quality isn't that great! I need to get batteries for my regular camera.

What shades brighten up you day?
